The essence of Christmas captured by our superb Somerset makers exploring the charm, mystery and spirit the festive season evokes. Ghostly tales and Dickensian inspired visions will infuse magical wonder throughout the gallery. Original, unique and handmade; every item is lovingly made and will envelope the soul with Christmas cheer. Visit us for a sensory indulgence over the festive season and discover some of the finest craftsmanship found in Somerset. Two guest Artists will also be exhibiting over Christmas.

Amongst the myriad of disciplines both contemporary and traditional we will also have a large selection of highly affordable and beautifully made Christmas decorations available too. Anything purchased from us will be treasured for many years and we endeavour to spoil you with a diverse choice of craft during our Christmas Exhibition for 2009!

Mary Jane Evans Special Guest Artist:

"The main theme in my work is the transformation of materials

which echo the forces, metaphors, substance and history

within the Dorset landscape. Pushing materials to their extremes

is fundamental to my work. My Welsh roots make my

medium, slate, emotionally charged. I use exciting and

unpredictable techniques combining porcelain, corrosive

materials and minerals using the kiln as a time machine

to scar and erode my pieces."
